I spent New Year's Eve at a hotel and there were a few good things about the place. the hotel offered complimentary cocktails in the lobby, which was a nice touch. the location was perfect, right in the middle of downtown and close to all the festivities. the hotel room had a decent view of the fireworks, and the bed was comfortable enough for me to sleep well.

There were also some things I didn't like. the room was quite small, and the amenities were lacking.
